RLS "High Density, Rack Mount"

In developing the RLS design Qualstar has created a unique rack mount library architecture. The RLS incorporates Qualstar-developed and patented technology called the storage array. The storage array provides the highest possible cartridge density within a rack mount design 5U high library.
The RLS library family consists of six distinct models. There are three models within the AIT RLS product family and one model each for the SAIT, SDLT, and LTO formats.
The RLS is designed for maximum application flexibility. All RLS models support redundant power supplies, true hot swap drives, SCSI or Fibre Channel host connection, and Q-Link web based remote library management.
